Break-O-Day Elementary School
This elementary school, serving students in Grades 2-4, is located in New Whiteland, Indiana. It is recognized that each student has a unique talent that he or she contributes to the educational process, and teachers endeavor to instruct students in such a way that these talents benefit others.
Clark Elementary School
Kindergarteners through 4th graders attend this school in Franklin, Indiana. Teachers here are dedicated to promoting a learning environment that is not only positive but also developing social responsibility, self-confidence, and independence. Cooperative experiences, team-developed curriculum, and inquiry-based learning are also very important.
Pleasant Crossing Elementary School
Students from Kindergarten through the 4th grade are served by this school. Excellence in the classroom and in the school’s community is rewarded with the SOAR (Super Outstanding Achievement Respect) award, which includes categories such as Best Citizen, Most Improved, and Best Effort.
Sawmill Woods Elementary School
This school has an interesting structure where the students attending here are Kindergarteners or 1st graders. When they’re ready for 2nd grade, they will then go to Break-O-Day Elementary School. Teachers make sure that each child is provided with a safe, encouraging environment in which they can develop physically, socially, cognitively, and emotionally at their own individual paces.
Whiteland Elementary School
Preschoolers through 4th graders are taught at this school. The primary goal of the faculty in this school is to work cohesively with parents and other community members to ensure that each student’s unique potential is met. In addition to regular classroom instruction, students can take Art, Physical Education, and Music.
Clark-Pleasant Intermediate School
Students who are in the 5th and 6th grades attend this school as a transition between elementary and middle school. Fifth graders have a team of two or three teachers, and sixth graders have teams of three or four teachers. Students learn core subjects of applications, math, language arts, science, and social studies. Seasonal sports include Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball.
Clark-Pleasant Middle School
At Clark-Pleasant Middle School, 7th and 8th graders have a variety of different academic and extracurricular activities to choose from at this school. In addition to core subjects, students can also participate in band, creative dramatics, and choir. Athletic teams include Golf, Football, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Soccer, Swimming and Diving, Tennis, and Volleyball.
This school is designed to help high school students (primarily Juniors and Seniors) earn their high school degree in an alternate setting. In order to attend the Academy, students must first get a referral from their high school guidance counselor, which then needs to be approved by their high school principal.
Whiteland Community High School
This high school provides students in Grades 9-12 with a technical, career, and academic curriculum. The goal of this learning environment is to promote respect among peers and for each and every student to confidently become motivated learners. Known as the Whiteland Warriors, their athletic teams include Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Swimming, Track and Field, Cheerleading, Tennis, and Baseball.
