Elkhart Community Elementary Schools

Elkhart Community Middle Schools

The district has three middle schools: North Side, Pierre Moran, and West Side. These schools prepare students with critical thinking skills and an expanded roster of extracurricular opportunities. Students at Elkhart's middle schools are exposed to an impressive amount of fine arts opportunities with band and choir programs introducing many students to the joys of music. Each school also strives to create a positive and welcoming environment for students in the challenging transition of the Grades 6–8 years. Elkhart Community High Schools

Students in Elkhart Community Schools either attend Elkhart Central High or Elkhart Memorial High. Both of these schools offer an impressive array of challenging courses including AP classes, which helps prepare students for college. In fact students often graduate with some of their college course load already completed. In addition to this rigorous academic schedule, arts ranging from theater to dance are also offered. Varsity sports include football, baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming, cross country, track and field, and volleyball.
