Gibson County

In Gibson County the Gibson-Pike-Warrick Special Education Cooperative School District works with three different school corporations. These are the East Gibson School Corporation, the North Gibson School Corporation, and the South Gibson School Corporation.

Students from the special-education cooperative attend classes at Wood Memorial Jr./Sr. High, Princeton Community Middle School, Princeton Community High School, Fort Branch Community School, and Gibson Southern High School.

These students learn in shared facilities with able-bodied students, removing any possibility for isolation and making them part of the community. This approach has been shown to increase communication abilities on both sides of the able/disability divide since students are able to recognize similarities and empathize at a young age.

Pike County

In Pike County the special education cooperative works hand in hand with the Pike County School Corporation. Students here attend Pike Central Middle School and Pike Central High School. Students from throughout the district are taken to school by a system of specially equipped school buses.

Warrick County

Warrick County students from the cooperative attend Warrick County Schools. These include Boonville Middle School, Boonville High School, Castle Middle School, Castle High School, and Tecumseh Junior-Senior High. While studying at these schools, they pick up the life skills necessary for navigating the world as well as lessons in the arts and humanities. Students at Warrick County Schools are a compassionate, friendly, and welcoming bunch.
