Huntington County Elementary Schools

In an effort to reach students at an individual level, the district boasts five different elementary schools. This allows young learners to reach their full potential without feeling left out in the crowd. It also encourages a sense of community when students are able to see kids from their neighborhoods learning in class and on the playground with them. Teachers in the district focus on literacy for these youngest learners, seeking to empower them with long-lasting learning habits like independent reading. Elementary schools in the district include Andrews Elementary, Flint Springs Elementary, Lancaster Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, and Roanoke Elementary.

Huntington County Middle Schools

Students from the district’s elementary schools head to Crestview Middle School or Riverview Middle School where in addition to great views, they are introduced to a wide array of educational experiences. Many students develop a love for the arts at this stage with music programs including band and orchestra introducing them to instruments large and small. Others develop a sense for sociability, building the communication skills that will later make them leaders in the business world. Other students choose to play sports, building the values of determination and teamwork.

Huntington North High School

Huntington North High School is known as a place where students of all abilities can learn and grow. The school has an excellent special education program in addition to the standard regimen of advanced courses. Students at Huntington North compete on debate teams and form clubs based around interests and civic duty. Many Huntington North students continue their studies at top-tier universities around the country. There are several athletic teams students can choose to join: baseball, tennis, softball, cross country, dance, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, gymnastics, swimming, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling.
