A native of Rockford, Illinois, Mary Jane attended college at DePauw University in nearby Greencastle. After college, she worked in retail and became a buyer for Chicago retailer, Marshall Field and Company. After raising two great boys – Chip and John, in 2003 Mary Jane and Bob moved back home again to Indiana to be near Bob’s family in Bedford. Real estate is the perfect career choice for Mary Jane since the family moved 8 times and lived in five states. Now empty nesters, Mary Jane and Bob live near Lake Monroe. Mary Jane is an avid gardener and served the Monroe County Master Gardeners as president in 2004.
Life in a college town offers unique volunteer opportunities and Mary Jane serves as Treasurer of the House Corporation of the chapter house of Pi Beta Phi. She is a member of several community organizations including Alumnae Panhellenic Council and Tri Kappa. Mary Jane serves the realtor community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bloomington MLS and serves on the Government Affairs committee of the Bloomington Board of Realtors. In 2010, Mary Jane completed the Indiana Real Estate Leadership Academy.
Her interest in gardening and history of moving has led her to a “Bloom Where You Are Planted” philosophy.
