The School has 672 students from grades six through eight, with a student to teacher ratio of 19:1. Martinsville West Middle School is one of two middle schools in the Metropolitan School District Martinsville Schools area. The school has 584 students in grades six through eight with a teacher to student ratio of 15:1. This ratio ensures small class sizes and individualized attention for your child. The school boasts an “A” grade accountability rating from the state of Indiana. The school has numerous sports teams such as volleyball, basketball, swimming, cheerleading and more. There are approximately 1,661 students in grades nine through twelve with a teacher to student ratio of 19:1. Martinsville High School is the final stop on your child’s journey in the district and ensures that your child’s final school years will be both successful and personally rewarding. The school has embraced the use of new technology and encourages their students to utilize eBooks in both their science and literary studies.
