Your Full Guide to the 52nd Annual Penrod Arts Fair

Mark your calendars! The 52nd annual Somerset CPAs and Advisors Penrod Arts Fair is rapidly approaching, taking place Saturday, September 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Newfields campus, on the grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, located at 4000 Michigan Road. Named “Indiana’s Nicest Day,” this one-day arts extravaganza is a great kickoff to fall and supports Central Indiana and surrounding county arts, cultural and educational institutions. It’s a beloved event looked forward by art enthusiasts in Indiana and all across the country.

So how big is this art fair, you ask?

The Penrod Arts Fair is one of the largest single-day art fairs in the country, featuring 300+ local artists, six stages with live entertainment and booths from more than 50 non-profit art organizations.

Browse through a diverse array of paintings and art for sale, perfect to add to your collection at home, work or wherever you’d love to be inspired. You can also find pieces and activities like woodworking, metal art, pottery, leathercrafts, jewelry, photography, sculptures and more. It’s the perfect place to find just the piece you didn’t know you needed.

The event is rain or shine, so don’t take it off your calendar if it rains.

Have kids? Bring them along! The Penrod Arts Fair has a large children’s area for them to get in on all of the fun.

Food and Drink

Oh, and the food and drink brought in locally are amazing too! The fair will host the Indiana Craft Beer Garden—the perfect opportunity to grab one of your favorite local beers or try something new. Not into beer? Enjoy the new Wine Terrace.
