Tri-Central Elementary School

Students from Kindergarten through the 5th Grade benefit from an exceptionally encouraging learning environment at this rural elementary school. Emphasis is placed on every student’s unique strengths and various learning styles.

Students in Grades 4-5 who have demonstrated leadership and academic skills have the opportunity to be elected to the Student Council. Elected students serve for one semester and must fulfill certain duties such as welcoming new students, helping in the bookstore, and maintaining recycling responsibilities. For students with an interest in broadcasting, the WTCE Newscast Team allows students to prepare morning announcement videos relaying the latest school news and information.

Tri-Central Middle/High School

These combined schools serve students in Grades 6-12. In addition to a curriculum designed to challenge and inspire students regardless of their respective learning styles, opportunities are provided for students already thinking about their future careers. Students who are interested in becoming a broadcast journalist can learn about video production and on-camera talent by participating in TC News 13, which provides information about what’s new in the school community. High school students with an interest in education can take the High School Ed Pro Class. In this class, students can learn about the teaching profession, how people learn, and strategies for instruction and assessment.

Known as the Trojans, both the Middle School and High School have various athletic programs for students to choose from. Middle School athletic options include basketball, track and field, football, cross country, cheerleading, volleyball, and wrestling. High School sports include soccer, football, cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, golf, softball, and track and field.
