Realtor® Broker

Cindy Starks is a professional listener. Before becoming a real estate broker, Cindy was a corporate speechwriter for Verizon Wireless, IBM and United Technologies and a freelance speechwriter for the Federal Reserve Bank, the United Nations and Eli Lilly.

As a speechwriter, Cindy learned to listen closely to her clients as they spoke about what they hoped to convey in their speeches and how they wanted their audiences to think or feel when they finished.

She brings the same commitment to her real estate clients. She listens closely to understand your wants and needs, your budget, timeframe and the area in which you would like to live.

Cindy knows that buying or selling a home is an emotional as well as a financial transaction and will carefully listen and follow through on every commitment until you are happy and satisfied.

A Connecticut Yankee by birth, and a graduate of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Cindy has lived in Zionsville and Carmel since 2006 and happily considers herself a full-fledged Hoosier.

Cindy has learned about the local community and its people from writing a weekly column for the Zionsville Times Sentinel for two years, by joining organizations such as the Central Indiana Real Estate Investors Association (CIREIA) and by being an active parishioner at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church.

In her spare time, Cindy loves to read, write (she’s working on a mystery novel set in Italy), bike, swim, go to the movies and walk her two black Labs, Shadow and Bailey.

Cindy looks forward to talking – and more importantly – listening to you.
