Mike Hurt

Mike brings to Real Estate many years of experience serving families of Putnam County as a funeral director.  He and his wife, Stephanie, owned and operated two funeral homes in Greencastle for 25 years.  After his career as a funeral home owner and operator, he became a full-time faculty member in the Mortuary Science Program at Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis for 10 years, teaching students who would follow in his footsteps as future funeral directors.

Born and living in Greencastle most of his life, Mike knows the community well and has developed many relationships through the years, serving families in their time of need and as a member of many community organizations. 

Mike is a graduate of Greencastle High School and the Indiana College of Mortuary Science.  He also earned a BA degree from Marian University and a Master's degree in Leadership Development from St. Mary of the Woods College.
