Originally from Columbus, IN, Otto relocated to Bloomington in 2009 with his wife Melissa and 2 sons.

Obtained a Bachelor of Science with Distinction from Indiana University in 1995, with a major in Biology and a minor in Business.

Member of Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies

Received a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University in 1999 and is currently a practicing orthopedic surgeon, specializing in orthopedic trauma and hand and micro surgery, with IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians.

Over 2 decades of experience in real estate transactions, including partner and manager in real estate and property management firms since 1995, with holdings including agricultural, residential, commercial, and recreational properties, as well as home restoration and property development.

Outside of work, Otto enjoys anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, and spending much needed time with his family.
