Sheridan Elementary School is centrally located in the town of Sheridan and also houses the district’s central offices. Sheridan Middle School

Located adjacent to Sheridan High School, Sheridan Middle School offers a well-rated and conveniently-located public school. Sheridan Middle School has a strong extracurricular and athletics department for Grades 6-8. This school’s tight-knit community environment encourages student involvement, productivity, and growth.

Several athletic teams are available to Sheridan Middle School students including soccer, volleyball, football, cross country, wrestling, softball, baseball, basketball, track, and golf. The Sheridan Adult Booster Club, which offers support to Sheridan’s athletics teams, ensures participation and support of the school’s athletic teams remain at an all-time high. The teachers and students at Sheridan Middle School also work together on continual anti-bullying initiatives, guaranteeing that the school remains a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Sheridan High School

Sheridan High School is known for its strong athletic community and as a strong powerhouse in Indiana’s Class 1A football league. The Sheridan High School Blackhawks have won the state championships nine times throughout its history with the most recent win in 2007. The Blackhawks were also runners-up in 1994 and 2008.

Other sports teams offered at the school include soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, softball, wrestling, baseball, track, and golf.  Physicals are offered at the school to make sure students are physically fit to play the sport of their choice. Additional physical education is offered through regular gym and weight-training schedules, while additional academics are emphasized through extracurricular activities like the marching band and guard, concert band, chorus, and other singing groups as well as quiz bowl, drama, and National Honor Society.
