Veterans Day: 2018 Freebies & Discounts

November 11. The day that we honor the true heroes of this country, our veterans. First of all, if you are a veteran, thank you for your service. Secondly of all, many businesses are showing their appreciation for you by offering free or discounted goods. Below, we have compiled a list of the 2018 freebies and discounts. It is important to note that the majority of these discounts are for veterans or active duty military members only and as such, often require proof of military ID. Before you go, be sure to double-check the days the deals are running and who is eligible for the discount!

FOOD

Aspen Creek Grill – Aspen Creek Grill is offering veterans and active duty military a free lunch on Monday, November 12th, from 11am-10pm.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill – Veterans and active duty military can select an entrée from a limited menu on Veterans Day.

Bar Louie – This year, Bar Louie is offering veterans and active military personnel a free flatbread or burger.

BJs Restaurant and Brewhouse – On November 11th, all service members can enjoy a complimentary entrée up to $12.95.

Bob Evans – All active duty military, retirees, and veterans can select a free meal from special menu on Veterans Day.

Bonefish Grill – Bonefish grill is offering all veterans and active duty military a free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer on Sunday November 11.

Boston Market – This year for Veterans Day, Boston Market is offering a buy one (individual meal with a drink) get a second one free deal. This offer is good both November the 11th and 12th.

Boulder Creek Dining – This awesome spot in Brownsburg is offering a complimentary entrée to all veterans on November 11.

Buffalo Wild Wings – On November 11, all active duty military and veterans can receive a free small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill – Carrabba’s Italian Grill is offering veterans a free appetizer on Veterans Day.

Chili’s – All veterans and active duty personnel can receive a free meal from a special menu on Veterans Day.

Chipotle –Chipotle is offering a buy–one-get-one-free burrito bowl, salad, or taco on Veterans Day. This offer is valid for active duty military, reserves, national guard, military spouses, and retired military.

City Barbeque – This year on Veteran’s Day, all veterans and active military members get a free sandwich, two sides, and a regular beverage.

Cicis Pizza – Cici’s Pizza is offering a free buffet to veterans on Veterans Day. This buffet includes pizza, salads, dessert, and many more delicious items.

Cracker Barrel – All veterans receive a free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake or a crafted coffee beverage on Veterans Day.

Denny’s – On Monday (November 12), veterans can receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast from 5am to noon.

Dunkin’ Donuts – On Veterans Day, all veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free donut with no additional purchase necessary.

Famous Dave’s – At Famous Dave’s, they are offering a free 2 meat combo served with the choice of a side and cornbread muffin for veterans and current military members.

Fogo de Chão – Fogo de Chão is offering 50% off meals for veterans and active duty personnel Friday through Sunday.

Gigi’s Cupcakes – This year, Gigi’s Cupcakes is giving away a free cupcake to all veterans and first responders on Monday, November 12th.

Golden Corral – On Monday, November 12, Golden Corral is offering a free sit-in “Thank You Dinner” for all military veterans, retirees, and active duty members.

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream – This delicious ice cream spot is offering a free single cone for veterans and military personnel on Veterans Day.

Hooters – All veterans and active duty members can receive a free meal from a select Veterans Day menu on Veterans Day.

Houlihan’s – Veterans can enjoy a free entrée meal from Houlihan’s select menu on Veterans Day.

IHOP – What is more American than a stack of red, white, and blue pancakes? IHOP is offering veterans a free stack of red, white, and blue pancakes or a patriotic pancake combo from 7am-7pm on November 11.

IKEA – On November 11, veterans can enjoy a free entrée at IKEA.

Kolache Factory – Nationwide on November 11, Kolache Factories are offering a free breakfast to all veterans and those who are actively serving in the armed forces.

Little Caesars Pizza – All veterans and active duty military members can enjoy a free $5 Hot-n-Ready lunch combo on Veterans Day.

Logan’s Roadhouse – Veterans and active duty service members can drop in for a free American Roadhouse Meal on Veteran’s Day. Year round, veterans receive a 10% discount.

LongHorn Steakhouse – Veterans and active duty military members can receive a free appetizer or dessert from LongHorn Steakhouse on November 11, no purchase required. Plus, guests dining with veterans will receive 10% off their meals.

Main Event – At Main Event, veterans receive a free meal and $10 FUNcard good for $10 in arcade play.

Max & Erma’s – On Veterans Day, Max & Erma’s is giving away their free “Best Cheeseburger in America” meal for veterans and active military. Meal includes 1/2-pound cheeseburger, endless seasoned fries and a fountain drink.

McCormick and Schmick’s – At McCormick and Schmick’s, all veterans and Gold Star Families can enjoy a complimentary lunch or dinner on November 11.

Michaelangelo’s Italian Bistro – On November 11, Michaelangelo’s Italian Bistro is offering veterans a free meal off the special “Freedom Menu.”

O’Charley’s – At O’Charleys, veterans can receive a free meal from the “Veterans Thank You Menu” on Veteran’s Day. O’Charley’s offers a 10 percent military discount year-round.

Olive Garden – At Olive Garden, veterans and active duty service members can receive a free meal from a select menu. Not to mention, entrees are served with unlimited soup or house salad and garlic bread sticks.

On the Border – All veterans and active duty military will receive a free create-your-own combo meal on Veterans Day.

Outback Steakhouse – At Outback Steakhouse, veterans can receive a free Bloomin’ Onion & one non-alcoholic drink. Also, veterans can use their “10% off Heroes Discount” at any time through December 31.

Panera Bread – This year, Panera Bread is offering free meals to veterans on Monday the 12th with free “You Pick Two” meals.

Pie Five Pizza – On Veterans Day, Pie Five Pizza is offering active duty, reserve, and retired service members a free customized pizza.

Ponderosa Steakhouse – From 4pm-close on Veterans Day, all former and current military members can enjoy a free buffet meal.

Primanti Bros. – All veterans and active duty military can get a free classic sandwich anytime all day on Veterans Day.

Rapid Fire Pizza – At Rapid Fire Pizza, veterans and active duty military can get a free single topping 9” or 11” pizza on Veterans Day.

Red Lobster – On both Sunday and Monday, Red Lobster is offering a free appetizer or dessert to all veterans, active duty military, and reservists.

Red Robin – At Red Robin, veterans are welcome to a free Red’s Tavern Double burger and bottomless steak fries.

Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery – Veterans are invited to come to Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery for a free meal. They will also have a limited-edition Veterans Day IPA and 25 cents from every pint will go to a local veterans’ charity.

Ruby Tuesday – This Veterans Day, all veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free appetizer.

Starbucks – On Veterans Day, Starbucks is giving away a free tall coffee for any veteran, active duty military, or military spouse

Texas Roadhouse – All veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free meal from a special lunch menu, including a beverage and sides.

TGI Friday’s – TGI Friday’s is offering a free lunch menu item up to $12 on November 11.

Tijuana Flats – Any veteran can come to Tijuana Flats for a free entrée and fountain drink on Sunday, November 11, 2018.

Tucanos Brazilian Grill – At Tucanos, all military personnel can receive a free Churrasco Meal with the purchase of another adult Churrasco. Veterans dining alone will receive a 50% discount on their meal. Also, if guests post a selfie at Tucanos, they will receive a Free Dessert Certificate to use at their next visit.

Twin Peaks – All veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free item from Twin Peaks’ Veterans Day menu.

Vitality Bowls – Vitality Bowls is offering free smoothies to veterans at their corporate and participating franchise locations.

White Castle – White Castle is offering veterans and active duty service members a free Breakfast Combo or Castle Combo meal #1-6 on both November 11th and 12th.

Circle K – On Veterans Day, Circle K is offering free Polar Pops to military veterans.

Crew Carwash – Crew Carwash is offering free car washes for veterans and active military members Sunday at all 31 locations across Indiana.

Dollar General – In honor of Veterans Day on November 11, Dollar General is offering an 11 percent discount to all active duty service members, veterans and their family members.

Fresh Market – Sunday through Monday, active military veteran and spouses can receive 10% off their purchases at Fresh Market (excluding alcohol and gift card purchases).

Goodwill – On November 11, veterans can get 50% off all apparel.

Goodyear Auto Service and Just Tires – Nationwide, Goodyear is offering former and current military members free “Checks for Vets” and up to 10% off tires November 9-11.

Great Clips – Veterans and active duty can get a free haircut on Veterans Day or pick up a free haircut card to use through Dec. 31 at Great Clips.

Home Depot – Home Depot is offering a 10% in-store discount to all military veterans on November 11th.

Indiana Department of Natural Resources – All veterans, active duty military, and their guests (everyone in their vehicle) will be admitted for free to DNR state parks, reservoir properties, recreation areas, and off-road vehicle areas on Sunday and Monday.

Indianapolis Zoo – On November 11, Veterans and their family members can visit the Zoo for free.

Jo-Ann Fabric – From November 7-11, veterans, active duty service members, and their families can receive a 20% discount.

LIDS – Through Monday, all veterans can get free embroidery and customization on purchased items at LIDS.

Lowe’s – Every day, veterans can utilize their 10 percent discount on eligible purchases.

Mattress Firm – November 9-12, veterans and their families can get 20% off any purchase.

Michaels – Michaels celebrates Veterans Day every day by offering a 15 percent discount for military families 365 days a year.

Sports Clips – Through its Help a Hero campaign, participating stores offer free haircuts to service members and veterans.

Target – From November 4-12, veterans, active military, spouses, and dependent children can receive a 10 percent discount on in-store and online purchases.

Topgolf – This Veterans Day, Topgolf is offering veterans, active duty military, police, fire, and EMS personnel a complimentary lifetime membership, 10 percent off gameplay.
