Mamma mia indeed! Mammamia Gelato is Carmel’s newest dessert and coffee shop, and has become the destination for scrumptious homemade Italian treats, including their infamous Italian Hot Chocolate or Cioccolata Calda as it’s pronounced in Italian. If you’ve never had true Italian Hot Chocolate before, you might be a bit surprised to see that it has more of a thick and creamy pudding-like consistency compared to its liquid American counterpart. Try it with whipped cream on top or by itself straight from the mug. Either way, your taste buds will pleased!

It’s also super affordable and perfect to enjoy in front of the shop’s iconic fireplace with a great book or a good friend. Everything inside of BRICS, from the spoons to the cups, even the napkins, are also environmentally friendly and made from sustainable materials.
