Hubbard & Cravens was brought to Indy in 1991, by Rick Hubbard and Jerry Cravens. Hubbard & Cravens is very passionate about providing the finest coffee and tea available, and they seem to be doing an outstanding job. They travel all around the world to bring excellent coffee our way, including Central and South America, Africa, and Indonesia. Hubbard & Cravens has an excellent variety of unique coffee and teas to satisfy every type of pallet. Some seasonal favorites to be sure to  try include a Macadamia Milk Latte, Spiced Pumpkin Pie Latte, and a Cinnamon Latte.

3 Sisters Café – Broad Ripple

3 Sisters is located right in the heart of Broad Ripple and focuses on using locally sourced products  as well as vegetarian and whole foods. This cafe has been one of Indy’s most popular breakfast houses for over 20 years! 3 sisters has an amazing House made Chai Latte, as well as Cafe Lattes, Cappuccinos, Mochas, and much more. Along with coffee and tea this cafe offers breakfast, lunch and a bakery with some simply amazing food guaranteed to satisfy you.

Falls Perk Coffee House – Pendleton

If you instantly thought of the TV Show Friends, and the iconic ‘Central Perk’ when you heard the name of this coffee shop, you are right! This cozy small-town coffee house was inspired by the show Friends and locals are loving it! This coffee shop is just right across from Falls Park in Pendleton, and is owned by a local married couple, Justis & Mitchall Hall. Falls Perk is one of those coffee shops that gives you all of those warm and cozy feelings right when you walk in the door. Their holiday specials include a Peppermint White Mocha, Caramel Crème Brûlée, and a Gingerbread Spiced Chai. You definitely want to check this place out!

Kaffeine Coffee Company– Mass Ave

Kaffeine Coffee Company, owned by husband and wife Amanda and Chris Kilander, started out as a coffee truck and is now located in a building just a few feet from Mass Ave. They are  known for their industrial atmosphere, as well as providing a unique experience and delicious handcrafted coffees. They definitely aim to please by bringing coffee to the next level for their customers by not adding syrups and flavoring to their coffees. Kaffeine Coffee has a true love and passion for brewing, roasting, and drinking coffee that really shows through their special brewing processes and high quality of beans. Oh, and did I mention they have an Italian dessert that is made by drowning cold, sweet gelato in hot espresso?! It’s called the Affogato, and you’re welcome!

Milktooth – Indianapolis

In 2014, this fine diner called Milktooth was opened, and has been a huge hit ever since!  Milktooth has an amazing state-of-the-art bistro station, that allows them to brew some pretty impressive menu items. This bistro features bottomless drip, cold brews, espressos, and many other specialty drinks. Along with coffee they offer a full decadent brunch menu, and I also have to mention that they have booze! For those of you who like to mix their coffee with their booze, try the Kangaroo Kourt, it has a house made coffee-tequila liquor, Banana liqueur, cream and house made orange bitters.

Monon Coffee Company – Broad Ripple

This coffee house is just off the Monon Trail and they claim  to be Broad Ripple’s best, so we knew we had to include this one! We can’t deny that their White Chocolate Mochas are absolutely to die for and their most famous concoction, the White Zombie is a must have! The White Zombie is made of white espresso beans that are very lightly roasted so they don’t  lose as much caffeine as darker espresso beans, then top it off with some almond milk and a splash of white chocolate syrup and you’re taste buds will be begging for more!

Bee Coffee Roasters – Indianapolis

Bee Coffee Roasters is known as one of the first specialty coffee shops in Indy. This coffee shop resources and roasts their own beans to bring out the very best flavors. Their staff is very knowledgeable, so if you need help picking a brew that you will enjoy the most, they’ve got you covered. Bee Coffee Roasters even won the title of best coffee shop in Indiana based on the Mental Floss article of the best coffee shops in all  50 states. They were also named the best coffee roaster by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine! You might want to do yourself a favor and add this one to your list!
