Sushi Boss is coming to Keystone at the Crossing!

Sushi Boss owner/operator, Jason Hornberger, is looking forward to the grand opening of his second Sushi Boss restaurant in Indianapolis on Monday, January 28, 2018.  Jason graduated from IUPUI in 2007 and started studying the fast, casual sushi concept pretty early on. After realizing the potential for such a unique idea, Jason opened Sushi Boss downtown Indy in 2014.

If you aren’t familiar with Sushi Boss it’s a custom, build your own sushi restaurant.  “You Design, We Roll” is their motto. They make the rolls fresh right in front of you so you’re able to add ingredients as you work your way down the line. They also offer a handful of signature rolls (they’re the same as the ones downtown) if you aren’t into starting from scratch.  Combos are also available which includes your choice of roll with a side (soup, salad, edamame) and drink. If you’re wondering what my favorite roll is, it’s the Crunch Roll. Hands down.

Jason works with a few of our local high schools as well.  Zionsville, Fishers, Carmel, and Hamilton Southeastern all have one day a week where lunch is catered by Sushi Boss for the students. Where was this when I was in school?

If you’ve visited the Downtown location, you know it’s bright and modern inside.  The new location doesn’t disappoint either! It may be a bit smaller than Downtown but it’s just as unique inside. Wood planks line one full wall while modern pendant lights hang from the ceiling. Industrial style seating fills the floor.

Local owners, local restaurant. What’s a better combo?
