The Original Farmers’ Market

Arguably the granddaddy of them all, The Original Farmers’ Market, hosted by the Indianapolis City Market, is celebrating its 20^th anniversary this year. This is Downtown Indianapolis’ main farmers’ market, and it is held between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm on Wednesdays until October. Between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, this market really stands out with its live music.  City Market is located on East Market Street just east of the circle. This market runs rain or shine, so bring a rain jacket if the weather is a little less than desirable.
