One of the best parts of the change in seasons is the growth and blossoming out in nature! Flowers, leaves, fresh grass, and most importantly home grown produce! At the current time, strawberries are gearing up for picking season. Strawberries begin to ripen at the end of May and should be available for harvesting for about three weeks. If you’re interested in picking your own strawberries for your personal stock or just for a fun family activity, here is a list of Indiana farms that offer U-Pick Crops.

The 2019 strawberry season is starting at a snails pace!!! Strawberries have never started this slow in our 37 years of raising them! With that being said, we will tip-toe into the u-pick portion of the season Monday(6/3/19) @ 1pm. There will not be an over abundance of ripe strawberries when we open the u-pick fields. The market will be open regular hours 9a-7p M-Sat, 12p-6p Sun. The crop looks extremely good at this point, just slow in ripening. We plan on having plenty of our pre-picked strawberries in the market during regular hours. With this season being so different we will be posting up to the minute information here on FB, as well as our website: www.spencerberryfarm.com. …..Thank you, and please stay tuned!!
