The Madison-Grant United School Corporation’s schools span across both Madison and Grant counties and educates students from Kindergarten through to 12th grade. The school district also features career centers for those students that are soon entering college or university and want to take the first steps towards finding their career.
All of the schools in the Madison-Grant United School Corporation feature an eventful year of classes, athletic events, field trips, and other extracurricular activities that allow students to bond and make friendships. Park Elementary School
This school, whose personal motto is "personal best equals success," strives to offer the best educational experience possible for young students. Park Elementary School offers classes for students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. Students can also get involved in such interesting areas as technology, choir, art classes, and a school news team.
Summitville Elementary School
Another elementary school option, Summitville Elementary School is located in the town of Summitville. Teachers here seek to connect students with their local area as well as with each other through learning and fun. The calendar is filled with weekly events for students to participate in.
Madison-Grant Junior High School
For older students between 7th and 8th grade, Madison-Grant Junior High School offers an ideal educational experience in Indiana. Located in Fairmount, the school often draws in students from cities and towns such as Fort Wayne, Rigdon, Summitville, Point Isabelle, Fowlerton, Jonesboro, Elwood, Alexandria, and Fairmount.
Besides receiving exemplary educational experiences during these two years from dedicated staff, students attending Madison-Grant Junior High School can also participate in a variety of athletics, including volleyball, cheerleading, football, and cross country in the fall; wrestling and basketball for girls and boys in the winter; and track in the spring. Students can also participate in extracurricular clubs.
Madison-Grant High School
At this high school educating Grades 9-12, students will receive a well-rounded education during their four years here with the ability to participate in fine arts courses, A/P classes, and dual credit courses. Students can also attend a Smart School, use multiple learning devices (MLDs) during classes for a better classroom experience, and participate in one-to-one math classes for added assistance.
Madison-Grant High School is also renowned for its extracurricular activities. The school and Madison-Grant Junior High school both participated in the 2014 Indiana State School Music Association District Solo and Ensemble Contest. Nearly all students received a gold rating for their participation in the event.
Besides music groups, students can also participate in a range of sports like tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, track, wrestling, and cheerleading. There are also plenty of clubs and extracurricular activities that a student can join so that they're connected to their school and fellow students.
