During the day, the Canal Walk is filled with a variety of people, from runners and walkers, to bikers. As the evening sets in, the sunset is gorgeous on the horizon. Once it has set, the street and accent lighting really bring this area to life. You can walk the loop ahead of time to pick the perfect spot, or you and your soon-to-be fiancé can just go for a walk and you can get on bended knee when the moment feels right. From the bridges to benches overlooking fountains and the cityscape, you have so many options. Once your significant other says yes, celebrate (and warm up) at Burgerhaus, a restaurant on the north side of the Canal Walk.
