We found a house that checked off all our boxes, and a few extras we hadn’t even anticipated! We wanted the home for sure. We had no idea who to contact to represent us as our realtor. We grew up around the area, but hadn’t lived in Indiana for decades. A name that came up more than once from friends and relatives was Charmayne Saylors. They said she was very experienced and talented. But the thing that came up most was “She’s really nice!”. That’s a good quality to have for sure, but when it comes to the biggest investment in my life, I am a pretty much “all business”. It turned out that we got great advice from Charmayne, as we navigated through what every real estate negotiation involves - the buyer wanting to get it at the lowest price and the seller wanting the highest.. In the end her advice was right-on and I believe all parties were pleased. She went above and beyond representing me to get my Homestead Exemption as we still lived out of the state. She already received her commission and was legally done. She did a great deal of work to get it accomplished.. It turned out that she was indeed very nice, and that was the cherry on top of the sundae.
