I have been a REALTOR® with the F.C. Tucker Company since 2014 and started Balog Realty Group in 2017.  I represent buyers and sellers in all price ranges and believe that everyone deserves the same great service no matter the price point.  My clients’ needs always come first, even if that means it isn’t the best time to move.  My commitment to this principle shows in my outstanding communication, honesty, integrity, and unmatched devotion to my clients.  I earn their respect by working tirelessly on their behalf and offering candid advice. My analytical and organizational skills, along with my attention to detail, help to provide a smooth experience.

I grew up in Northern Indiana and received a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University.  It was at Purdue that I met my husband, Sam, who was studying Civil Engineering.  Prior to real estate, I worked as an Interfaces Analyst with a computer software company.  After having twins and staying home for a few years, I decided to jump into real estate and haven’t looked back.  While there are times I do miss programming (since it always did what I asked, unlike my children…), I can’t imagine doing anything else.  I believe I was meant to help people.  I love learning and  continue my education by constantly taking real estate courses on best practices, cutting-edge marketing technologies, and more.

I have lived in Hamilton County since I graduated from Purdue University in 2003.  As a resident of Fishers, I specialize in Hamilton County and the Geist area, but ultimately serve all of central Indiana.  I love being involved in the community as a Girl Scout leader for my daughter’s troop, a choir member and board member of Indy Spotlight, and a volunteer with HSE schools in Fishers, where my children attend.  My husband is a board member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and volunteers with Boy Scouts of America.  I also support FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education), the American Cancer Society, and the Alzheimer's Association.

My favorite part of this job is all the new people I get to meet.  I love interacting and socializing.  So much so that you will wonder how I was ever a computer programmer!  Lastly, I believe buying a home should be fun.  We have a great time during the process and I love getting to know my clients and joking around with them.  (I’ve been told before I should try standup comedy.  I’ll get to that in my spare time…)

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, playing board games, trying out new restaurants, and cuddling with my dogs.

 

My Areas of Expertise:

  • Relocating to Indy
    • Moving to a new city can be stressful.  I aim to lessen that stress and truly enjoy introducing Indy to people.  I think most are surprised by the culture and diverse communities that we have here.  I love helping clients discover the perfect part of Indy to settle in.  I also offer live video tours of homes if clients are unable to travel to the city and coordinate all the details surrounding inspections and estimates needed
  • Negotiating
    • I believe in a win-win philosophy while still protecting your interests.  I listen to what is most important to you in the process so we can meet your goals in the negotiation process.  I will fight hard for you and your money
  • Research and Analyzing
    • As a recovering nerd, I love data and analysis.  I will thoroughly research the data and market trends to make sure we set an appropriate price for your home sale or purchase
  • Processes and Communication
    • Buying a home can be a complicated process and I strive to make it as easy as possible for my clients.  I have processes in place to make sure all deadlines are met and that all the moving parts of a transaction are taken care of in a timely manner.  I also believe in responsive communication and welcome questions from clients.
  • Education
    • I believe in educating my clients on the process.  While I know the ins and outs of a transaction, most clients have not gone through it many times, or at all.  I want my clients to know what each part of the transaction is and feel educated on the process so they can be an involved participant and not feel like they are just getting dragged through the process.  I want my clients to understand why we are doing what we are doing at all times.
  • Service after the sale
    • I want to be your resource for all things real estate or home related.  I strive to always provide helpful information for the years to come after a sale.  I never want my past clients to feel like they are bugging me.  I am always happy to help!
